This trail, also known as the Kalopanayiotis Nature Trail, has now been numbered No 2. It is an easy circular route, 3.9km in length (2 hours), and suitable for all. Points of interest along this route include Theoskepasti chapel, with its 700-year-old scrub-oak in the churchyard, which locals believe is miraculous. Further on, there is a stunning panoramic viewpoint overlooking the Marathasa valley, as well as the scenic section of the trail which passes through the Kokkala ravine.
